A bit about me 

 

I get a buzz from working with leaders to get the best from their people, coaching and mentoring them through their people issues so they take ownership for their teams whilst developing their own leadership capability.

 

I believe that those who invest in their personal and professional growth get the most from themselves and their people which in turn creates agile, innovative, inclusive, and engaging workplaces. I'm also great at demystifying HR and simplifying people processes for managers and employees.

 

My working style is personable, pragmatic, and advisory; I get things done and am a trusted and reliable partner to people leaders. I will seek to understand the business purpose, objectives, and culture before advocating solutions, so they are right for you and your people. I can work across the full people function and wear a strategic and operational hat.

 

Professional Experience


After starting my HR career specialising in recruitment, I soon realised that I wanted to move into generalist HR, so I gained a Masters in Human Resource Management, became a Chartered member of the CIPD and moved into my first Head of HR role 15 years ago.


Since then, I have been in senior HR roles for fast paced and growing customer centric industries in corporate, private equity and family-owned companies across the UK.


At the start of 2022 I set up Noo HR to use my extensive experience to help people leaders who want to ensure that they can navigate this ever changing world of work confidently. 


What else?


My Nickname is Niki Noo (the inspiration behind my company name, Noo HR). When I’m not working you will usually find me outdoors, cycling, swimming in lakes, running and walking my Cocker Spaniel, Oakley.
